Dr. Anna Harris
Anna is originally from the United Kingdom, where she completed her medical training and gained post graduate diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Sexual Health. Anna completed her training in the UK in 2004 and has been practising as a GP in Australia since 2009. Special areas of interest include women's health - breast feeding issues, perinatal mental health, infant and child health, sexual health issues - small surgical procedures and traditional family primary care. She offers Obstetric Shared Care (care during your pregnancy) with Barwon Health.
Outside of work, Anna is kept busy with her 3 young children.
Hours: Monday and Wednesday 9.15am - 3.00pm through January
Monday and Tuesday 9.15am - 3.00pm through February
Saturday mornings - 8.30am to 11.45am must be pre-booked, no bulk billing.
Dr. Jenny Brommeyer
Jenny graduated from Deakin University Waurn Ponds. Following 3 years as a Hospital Medical Officer, she is thoroughly enjoying the diversity and continuity of general Practice.
Jenny has a special interest in women's and children's health, mental health and diabetes.
From February, Dr Brommeyer will be working Tuesdays and Fridays.
Dr. Claire Griffits

Dr. Fadi Hosn
Fadi graduated from Bond University in Queensland and has been working as a General Practitioner in the Geelong area for the past twelve months.
Previously Fadi has been a volunteer in the Solomon Islands and Sierra Leone. He is also a university lecturer and has worked with the afterhours home doctor service. In his free time, Fadi enjoys the coastal lifestyle and national parks in the area, drumming, boxing and yoga. Fadi will be doing some locum work for us.
Dr. Cath Callan
Cath Callan is a Monash graduate who works in general practice. She has completed training in Women’s Health and also tutors in the medical school at Deakin University. Cath is one of three supervisors for Registrars who join our practice to gain experience in general practice.
When she's not working she enjoys travelling with her family and painting.

Dr. John Greer
John Greer graduated in 1991 from Melbourne University Medical School. He obtained his FRACGP in 1998. He has worked at East Geelong Medical Centre since 2003 and is interested in paediatrics, adolescent health and musculoskeletal medicine. John is our main Supervisor for our Registrars who are gaining experience in general practice.
When John is not working, he is busy ski paddling, surfing and watching his 4 kids.
Hours: Monday 9.00am - 6.15pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 9.00am - 12.15pm, Friday 9.15am - 2.45pm
Dr. Johanne Horman
Jo Horman has been a GP at the East Geelong Medical Centre for 29 years. She trained at Monash University too long ago to quote the years!
She has a keen interest in all aspects of family medicine including preventative medicine, small surgical procedures and counselling.
Jo has lived in Melbourne (McKinnon and Glen Waverley), Moe and Cobram before settling in Geelong. She loves all sports especially the Geelong Cats and Australian Netball Diamonds.
Hours: Monday 9.00 - 12.15, Tuesday 9.00 - 5.45pm, every 2nd Wednesday 9.00 - 11.45am Thursday 9.00am - 4.15pm, Friday 9.00 - 3.00pm
Dr. Amanda O'Brien
Amanda O’Brien graduated from Monash University in 1985 and has lived and worked in Geelong since 1986. She has post graduate qualifications in obstetric care and sexual health. She enjoys all aspects of general practice – preventative care, acute illness and chronic disease management. Amanda also supervises our Registrars who are here to gain experience in general practice.
Amanda loves exploring different cultures and has had many travel adventures. (She is a Collingwood supporter).

Dr. Lianne Poon
Lianne Poon completed her medical degree at Melbourne University 1986. She has been enjoying working in general practice since 1991 and has been at the East Geelong Medical Centre for most of this time. She has a post graduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has an interest in all aspects of family medicine including acute and chronic disease management, preventative medicine, skin lesions and minor surgical procedures. Lianne enjoys adventuring in the outdoors, cycling, bushwalking, swimming, cross country skiing and travelling particularly when shared with her family and friends.

Dr. Cameron Profitt
Cameron Profitt graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1985 and has lived and worked in Geelong since 1986. He is interested in all aspects of GP work; especially chronic disease management. He has also worked in Forensic Medicine- since 1991. He enjoys tennis and watching the Demons at the MCG (still hoping to see a Melbourne Premiership in his lifetime).

Dr David Soo
David has been a GP for 35 years, the last 22 years placed in Geelong. David has an interest in diabetes and mental health along with good old fashioned family medicine. He is a keen cyclist, loves his travel and food along with his large blended family of 7.

Dr. Joseph Virgona
Joseph Virgona founded the East Geelong Medical Centre as a solo practitioner at 40 Ormond Road in June 1983. He was born and educated in Geelong and attended the University of Melbourne where he graduated in 1975 at the age of 23. He trained at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne for 4 years and returned to Geelong in 1980 doing General Practice Locum.
Dr Virgona has interests in Internal medicine, Geriatric medicine, Sports medicine and Industrial medicine. He is married with 6 adult children, follows the Geelong Football Club and in the local leagues – St Joseph’s Football and Netball clubs.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm
Dr. Charles Wilson
Charles Wilson completed his medical degree at The University of Melbourne in 1981 and has lived in Geelong since 1983. He joined the East Geelong Medical Centre in 1987. He also supervises Exercise Stress Tests at the Geelong Hospital and tutors second year medical students at Deakin University. He enjoys running and bushwalking.
